Last weekend, many family members and friends gathered to celebrate and remember Cal's life. We had time with extended family from afar, friends going back decades, members of our church, and from nearly every aspect of Cal's life.  The Celebration of Life service was beautiful and the reception party was just as Cal would have liked it.  

Over the past three years, we have been surrounded by loving care.  Your messages here, cards, thoughtful gifts, offers of help, visits, and heartfelt wishes for our wellbeing have been treasured. 

Writing these journals was very meaningful for me and for Cal and we understand they have had great meaning for many of you as well.  This site will be memorialized later this week, meaning you'll no longer be able to comment, but are free to return to read, get the link to the service recording, etc.
