My edited version:

Thank you all for taking a minute to read about Caleb.  Even if you cannot give - please please pray for Caleb, the Wilson family, and his medical team!
On Tuesday February 16, 2021 Caleb experienced a traumatic brain injury, TBI, resulting from a motor vehicle accident.  After initially being taken to a local hospital, he was airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio where they are better equipped to address this level of head injury.
Caleb is in the Neuro-ICU and in an induced coma while the cranial swelling goes down.  He is expected to be in the ICU for at least 10-14 days before he can begin his journey towards recovery.
As you can imagine, this will most certainly create unexpected medical costs and will continue to add up throughout Caleb’s treatment.
Caleb’s family is incredibly humbled and grateful by the outpouring of love and prayers. And any amount donated can only help. Only give if you feel led to.
Thank you all for lifting him up in prayers and for helping in any way you may be able.

Journal entry by Faye Wilson

We met with our First Responders on Tuesday! Their stories were very sobering. Ultimately, Caleb should NOT have survived the accident. We believe it was God who place the Game Warden, Fireman/EMT & DPS Trooper all there within minutes of the accident along with ALL of the Prayers that saved his life! We will forever be grateful to the men and women at the scene and in the hospitals and rehabs for giving us our boy back!

Today he was released by the brain doctor to return to a gradual work schedule and most normal activities including mom approved driving (which we will be practicing over the next few days). 🙌🙏🏻🙌💚
