Journal entry by Tamee Brown

Caleb was released from care in Milwaukee and we’ve been settling him back in at home.  It’s so nice to be with family again.

They are still working to get the perfect dosing of anti-rejection meds but the transplant clinic here in Green Bay can take this over now that he is more stable in other areas.

Thank you for your prayers throughout this last month. It’s been exhausting but we’ve been so blessed with how well things have gone overall.

We would ask for continued prayers that his body will not reject this kidney.  They warned us that it’s not uncommon to be hospitalized with rejection symptoms but also assured us that most of the time it can be stopped with proper treatment.

Damon is recovering very well back in Arizona.  He’s lonely but healing well.  He tires more easily but he’s been so very blessed to be able to work remotely and take breaks as needed. We are so grateful for such a supportive employer and co-workers.  They truly care about him and his recovery.  Can’t wait to have him back with us later this month!!!!!!!

Have a blessed Christmas with family and friends! Hold your loved ones close!
