Our family would just like to thank EVERYBODY for their continued support, prayers and generosity. So many family, friends and even people we have never met have shown us tremendous love.
Caitlin's Celebration of Life last Saturday, I hear, was beautiful. Honestly I was only present physically but I do have a recollection of some of it. I wish I could have hugged every single person that was there. I also wanted to thank everyone involved in helping to make the service beautiful: Pastor Jason Dukes, Tony Adkins (from Turrentine), Macy Tiradoegas (Singer),
Kiran Joseph
(Video Storyteller) and Hope Fellowship Church Frisco. Thank you for all of the flower arrangements that adorned the church. A sincere appreciation to
Christie Lair
for finding the perfect urn for our amazing Caitlin. Thank you to Tolli Cook, Demi Pasquale, Jonathan Duguid and Candace Kasian Cardwell for speaking an eulogy at the service. In addition, Heather (Caitlin's sister) gave an extremely moving eulogy about her sister. Heather showed bravery and strength and such confidence when she spoke about Caitlin. (I am sure Caitlin was right beside her). This is just the very end of her eulogy that I'd like to share :
"My sister Caitlin Coleman is no longer physically here but that doesn't mean she won't still be with us. She will live on through memories. And although memories can't necessarily watch me graduate, or be at my wedding or even hold my kids, they can be there FOR me. And there's something so incredibly beautiful about memories because they will live on even after we are long gone but only as long as we ensure that happens. So I ask every single one of you in this room today to help me keep her alive through her memory. Tell people stories about her, and do the things she loved because she wouldn't want us to be in pain when we thought of her She would want us to rejoice when we think of the time we got to spend with her. So I challenge every person in here to live like Caitlin and make sure she is never forgotten . Thank You "
We would also like to thank
Becky Ghose
and her wonderful mom for organizing a very delicious lunch for our family after the inurnment . Many Imagine school families contributed food as well- including Lauren (and Chloe) Weinberg, Asra and Aiza Qureshi, The Ngo family, and the
Manickam
Family.
I'm sure I missed thanking someone for helping us celebrate Caitlin's life last Saturday but please know we are forever grateful for everyone.
And remember what Heather challenged you to do!
("So I challenge every person in here to live like Caitlin and make sure she is never forgotten . Thank You ")
