12:30 update: X-ray shows that there is very minimal fluid left around his lungs (check) and the echo showed same to smaller amount of fluid around heart (check). Plan is to wean off Lasix over two days, Redo echo next Monday afternoon, and then wean off if everything til we’re just on aspirin. (Check)
Caden has been feeling better as long as he stays hydrated and doesn’t get a Lasix headache. A little moody at times, but hopefully we can say that he’s turned the corner and can start the delayed recovery process.
