It has been a month since transplant and Chris is doing fantastic! His kidney is functioning between 75-80%! He’s getting around great, but still has his restrictions on activities and lifting for a few more weeks. His other bloodwork numbers have mostly stayed in the normal range while they adjust his anti-rejection drugs to get the best combo. And best of all, he’s feeling much better!
The new kidney started working immediately, which was amazing. And he’s been going for walks with Katie most days, averaging at least a mile each time.
I can’t even begin to express how good he looks and is moving around! Thank you for supporting us and sending positive vibes and many prayers our way. It has helped so much to feel the love we’ve been getting! Thank you!
