Another solid, stable day for Byron.  The swelling has gone down, and his heart rate and cranial pressure measurements remain positive, but his blood pressure has been reading high each of the last two days. The nurses informed us this is due of the stress he is experiencing as he goes through the healing process. Although he is asleep right now, he is aware of what is going on around him and recognizes the voices of the people he loves. While this is a positive sign, it also has the potential to be problematic for his recovery. All of his energy needs to put towards healing, and the doctors have given us some guidelines to make sure that this happens. Visits have to be kept short (no more than 5 minutes), and guests must stay quiet and refrain from physical contact with Byron to make sure he stays at rest. Also, any visitors MUST be in good health, as he is very susceptible to infection at this time. Please contact Adri or Sheila before making a visit, just to make sure its a good time (We will try our best to reply as soon as possible!). Keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming!! We will be having a Mass in Byron's name on Sunday September 16th at 7:00 pm at the Most Holy Trinity in East Hampton. We would greatly appreciate to have as many people there to support his family in prayer. 

Hoy fue otro día estable para Byron. La inflamación ha bajado, el ritmo cardiaco y la presión craneal permanece positivo. La presión arterial ha sido muy alta estos dos últimos días. Los enfermeros nos informaron que esto es resultado por el estrés en el proceso de su curación. Aun que el esta dormido, el esta atento a lo que esta pasando a su alrededor y reconoce las voces de su seres amados, mientras esto es una señal positiva esto puede resultar en un problema a su recuperación. Los doctores nos han dado indicaciones MUY IMPORTANTES para que Byron se recupere pronto sin complicaciones. Entendemos que mucha gente desea ver a Byron pero las visitas tienen que mantenerse A MENOS DE 5 MINUTOS. También, es mas que importante mantener silencio y abstenerse de tener contacto físico durante la visita. POR FAVOR, tienen que estar en buena salud para visitarlo, ya que el correr un riesgo de cualquier infección. Para saber cuando es un tiempo apropiado para visitar contacten a Adrianna o Sheila.
