Thank you for a life fulfilled. I remember your family and you in Le Mars, IA. I graduated from LCHS in 1962 and Westmar in 1966. I am so proud of the work Byron has done in Malawi and also you Virginia. My maiden name was Hawkins.

Although I didn't know Byron personally, I knew him through his sister Virginia. Her son Caleb was a donor of his precious organs, one of which my husband received. That gift gave him an extra 15 years of life; a testament to their giving nature.
