Buddy’s Story

Site created on October 17, 2018

Thank you for visiting Buddy's site and checking in on him.  His family is updating this site and we are thankful for a common place to share updates but more importantly good ole' "Buddy Stories'.  So please, leave a reply and when Buddy is feeling better he'll get a good chuckle out of em'.

For the past few months, Buddy just hasn’t been feeling well.  After a trip in August to his PCP, Buddy visited an endocrinologist about his diabetes, a sleep specialist about possible sleep apnea and an urologist about urinary issues.  He started on insulin 2 weeks ago  after which everything seemed to get really out of whack.  On Friday of last week after valuable advise from his pcp’s triage nurse, it was decided to take him to the ER.  They found him to be in acute renal failure and liver failure.
Buddy was admitted and tests began.  Throughout the next few days tests were completed and last night (10/16/18) and MRI was completed.  We are still waiting of final confirmation but the surgeon did find a tumor on Buddys pancreas.
