On 1/7, we met with Thoracic and Liver surgeons. The good news is that no surgeries are scheduled at this point. The team is pleased with the progress of the current treatment plan, as the tumors are shrinking, and no new tumor growth is evident.
One area of concern that we will continue to monitor is the Peritoneal Carcinomatosis (cancer that spreads to the tissues that make up the abdominal cavity lining.), found during the July 2023 surgery. Dr. K, the Liver surgeon, is confident that he has ablated all visible lesions.
Brian will continue with the current treatment plan, which includes monthly injections and the daily chemo pill. Follow-up Dotatate PET scan, CT scan, and MRI are scheduled at the end of June/early July.
Brian is heading to Canada in June for his annual fishing trip!
