Update:
Brynlee does have pneumonia. She had multiple different bacteria’s growing on her trach culture and she is on IV antibiotics for 7-10 days for this. She does not have any infection in her blood though, thank the Lord. Her vent setting requirements change by the minute. They had to stop her feeds because they were concerned that she would not get enough perfusion which would make digestion difficult. She’s back on a Fentanyl drip instead of the oral Morphine because she was working over the ventilator to breathe and not letting the vent do it’s job, which was not giving her lungs any time to heal. We are back at square one. Please continue to pray for our sweet baby girl.
