Journal entry by A M —
I wonder if our Papa wondered what it would be like when his pain was gone and his earthly worries faded away.
Today he knows.
I wonder if Bryan wondered what it would be like when his name was called, and he would see Jesus face to face.
Today he knows!
I can only imagine that homecoming and being held in Jesus' arms! What a moment to live for!
Our Papa no longer lingers in pain, and his being is whole. He was welcomed home early this morning and in the place where he belongs. We will miss him so much but will cling to the knowledge of where he is and how greatly he is being loved.
Well done, Bryan. I bet it feels amazing to have the weight of this world off your shoulders now. We look forward to the day when we are with you again. Save a place for us-- we will be there soon. Well done, Papa. We love you.
We will celebrate Bryan's amazing life on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Our celebration as he requested, a gathering of friends and family in one of his favorite places.
Shantal and Vern's home- 609 3rd St SW, Rice, MN 56367
from 1:00-5:00 pm.
Thank you for loving our family, for supporting us, and praying for us through this wicked-fast journey. Now our hearts work toward healing. Please keep us in your prayers and enjoy a Mountain Dew and some Pringles in memory of our Papa.
Love, Amber
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
1 Thessalonians 4:14 "For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."
