Journal entry by Bruce Guebard —
Hello and Happy Spring to all. At least I think it’s Spring-you never know what the weather will be- among so many other crazy variables in our world. This is all so crazy and unbelievable-talk about take one day at a time- I’m sorry that everyone has had to experience that philosophy. Often I wake up and wonder how in the world did I end up here?! I’m sure you might feel the same.
We continue to live one day at a time and enjoy the small treasures of life. Bruce enjoys having no schedule for the day, and not having appointments or plans- even though he continues to ask every day -what do you have planned for today? He has become more helpful and perceptive- but still has a poor understanding of a lot of things. Life goes on and we are thankful and grateful for all we have- especially our home and family! Thank goodness for face-time and technology to be able to communicate with those we love!
Thank you to all who continue to keep us in their thoughts and prayers. As well, thank you for the wonderful friends who faithfully keep in touch. Tonight I read through all of Amy and my posts-oh my! It will be 2 years this month, and I think that’s long enough to do these posts! Feel free to give us a call anytime. “It is what it is.”
Please keep the many affected by this corona virus in your prayers and make the most of these unusual times- “don’t count the days, instead count the moments “-and for sure be thankful for your memories!
Best Wishes to all and may you experience Joy and gratitude in this season of new beginnings!
Happy Easter!
love Deb and Bruce
Yes-Issy is still best dog ever!
