He enjoyed driving his lawn mower, but he is exhausted now. I came home and made us dinner, a piece of Rockfish from Chesapeake's Bounty. It fried up pretty well.
Yesterday was chip beef, like the kind you find sliced really thin in Philly cheesesteaks, only not sliced quite thin enough for that. So definitely not creamed chipped beef on toast beef, but almost like steaksandwich beef. I did not fry any onions to go with either one.
I just saw a hummingbird! Bruce was right, they have returned! They migrate every year, and thanks to Bruce's forward thinking this past weekend, we have a hummingbird feeder freshly filled with one-to-one sugar syrup for their dining enjoyment. Bruce says it's always nice to have a rest stop on the migration highway for them.
I turned all the ringers on the house phone down to one notch. They are soft, but you can hear them if you are listening. I'm hoping they are soft enough not to keep him awake when he'd like to be napping. We'll keep you posted
Bruce is going to turn into a pumpkin early tonight. It's been an interesting day, but a long one, so I may join him. Thanks for all the comments, which I read out loud to Bruce and the hummingbirds. Good Night.
Love, Cheryl and Bruce
