Brooklyn’s Story

Site created on April 10, 2019

Many people have asked what is going on with Brooklyn.  We thought this would be one location to get updates.  We appreciate all the support, prayers,  and kind gestures.   A meal train was set up on facebook.   Per Tara and Davids request, please reach out to Jen if you want to help the Cox family out in any way.  314-265-3950.  Paypal: jwlax22@yahoo.com. or Venmo:  jared-werner-21.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Jennifer Werner

Brooklyn has had 3 follow up doctor appointments so far this week. All of her doctors are still amazed at her miraculous  recovery and healing process of her skin.

She doesn’t remember much from her hospital stay. She likes looking at the pictures her mom took and talking about what happened. She’s self conscious of her spots and how her skin is healing. Her family talked with one of her doctors about possibly returning to school next week for partial days. She gets very tired easily and is still itchy. She still has a few blisters in her mouth.

Her personality is returning and she’s asking to see her friends soon.

Her family is is very thankful for the many generous donations, cards, and meals.
