We just spoke with Brodys surgeon and we got wonderful news. The mass was a teratoma which can grow but won't spread, it didn't have any other cancer in it. All his lymph nodes were clear as well and the ones going to his testicle as well which is great. The doctor said it's the best results we could hope for so we are VERY happy this am. Brody has been doing well he moves around good, he still has pain but we try to manage it with meds. He is officially off the pain meds so hoping he will start feeling more like himself. He did get an infection in his hand from the iv but we got him on antibiotics right away and it's looking better already. He cant lift anything heavy for 3-4 weeks those are his stipulations. We are happy to report some good news. We are anxious to see him feel better and hopefully this will be the last hurdle. He will have frequent bloodwork and scans but we can handle that for sure!
