Journal entry by Bailey Lytle

Earlier this spring Brigg graduated from Faith High School. We were/are so proud of him of this accomplishment. Since that day, his life has taken him on a wirlwind…detour? He’s dealt with things we never ever thought of becoming a new normal but he has taken it on with a level of determination we are all a bit in awe of. Just last week he another graduation of sorts and graduated from speech and occupational therapy. He’s always had a quick witted comment ready and waiting and that hasn’t changed to say the least.
We all love hearing how proud his speech therapists, PTs, and chiropractors are of him and they say it frequently.

His plans he made for himself after HS are still the same but he has made the decision that switching from the fall to spring term of the lineman school will give himself extra time to get stronger. We couldn’t agree more!

One of his big goals is gaining his weight back and coming back even stronger. With that, he has gained back 12 of the 22 pounds he lost.  He continues to get stronger everyday💪🏼

He has to get glasses or as he call them, goggles…😜. They aren’t a forever thing but they help so his brain doesn’t have to work so hard at trying to focus. The plan is to be doing another CT scan in a couple weeks just to make sure everything is heeling as it should.

The whole family didgo camping and boating this last week and as worried as his amazing mamma was that he’d be left out in certain summer favorite activities, he tried a little bit of everything and had a blast doing it!

He has been to a couple rodeos fulfilling his brotherly duties cheering on Brynlie but is itching to be competing again! I guess that’s just another thing he can come back even stronger in. In time of course..❤️
