Where to begin. . .  We went to our normal appt. on Monday, June 24 and was very surprised to learn that Brian was starting a new chemo treatment.  They took him off the trial treatment due to not receiving the results we were hoping to see.  The Oncology team informed us that sometimes it takes a change of medication/chemo/or a completely different treatment to see changes.  He is now on two chemos, one of the chemos does came home with Brian and has a slow release over two days.  It is disconnected on the Wednesday after treatment.   

Unfortunately, the chemo kicked his a**.  On Friday, June 28th, Brian was not doing well and had to be brought down to the Cancer Care Center for some IV fluids and another blood transfusion.  Due to his lab results they decided to keep him and do some more testing. On Sunday they decided that they were going to replace the two stents since the lab results were coming back showing that there may be some more blockage.  Surgery was scheduled for Monday and went as planned. Brian was released on Tuesday to come home.

He has not been well since.  

We are back at Barnes Cancer Care Center tonight and they are admitting him AGAIN.  

Please pray for Brian, he is continuing to lose weight and is feeling down due to this terrible disease. He needs all of us to lift him up in prayer and good thoughts.  Please, please pray.
