Journal entry by Brian Kohlenberg

Well they let me bust outta there yesterday and it sure felt good to get some fresh air. We sure are lucky to be having this type of weather so far through March. Going into this deal one of my worries was bad winter driving conditions.

I’m not sure if I will do any more journal entries, now that I’m home it’s just time and persistence to the healing process. My head pretty foggy relearning to balance using just one side of brain and the headaches come and go. It’ll be a few months they tell me before my blood clot is absorbed.
My expectation is that every day will get a bit better, which is good cause I’m already going stir crazy.
Can’t tell you all how much it’s meant to me to receive your thoughts, prayers, and offers of help. Sure humbles a guy. Thank You to all.

Home feels great, and I was sure happy to see my kids and dogs. I’m so proud of our teenagers, they pretty much ran the household by themselves for 2 weeks while Rachel and I were in the Cities. I’ll be honest, you couldn’t have trusted me at that age to be that responsible 😜
Take care everyone and I’m sure we’ll be catching up soon!
