Journal entry by Brianne Brynell —
Though Brian had a bump in the road on Monday, things are smoother now! Brian had a very hard week with atrial flutter/AFib., no energy, shallow breathing and feeling less than his best. He went to Rochester on Friday. They did a transesophageal echocardiogram and cardioversion to get his heart rate back to normal. They were able to restore his heart rate after only 1 shock! We saw his cardiologist later in the day. It's still puzzling as to why this happened (and it could happen again), but he is taking extra medications proactively, avoiding anything that can raise his heart rate and there is a plan in place if this should return. We can't thank you enough for your continued thoughts, prayers, support and help! Our village is amazing, we know we can do this with you!
