Brian’s Story

Site created on September 7, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayers, support, and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Over the past month, Brian had been experiencing some bad headaches.  He was seen by two doctors since and finally on Thursday morning (September 6th) he went in for an MRI and they found a tumor on his brain.  Although it is most likely benign, he needs to have surgery to have it removed.  The location of the tumor is in the back of his brain.  His surgery will take place today (Friday September 7th) at noon.  They are anticipating the surgery will take about 4 hours with no complications.   We will update as we get more information as well as post surgery.

Please send those prayers and positive vibes his way.  His strength through all of this has truly amazed all of us!  We love you Brian Gino, keep staying strong!

Prayers have been answered!!! Thank you so much!! Brian’s MRI came back clear.  The swelling has decreased since his last MRI on 9/9 and all the ventricles look good.  We are so relieved!  He has been back on the higher dose of Valium for 2 days now and that seems to be working.   He is feeling a bit better today and has actually been able to eat, thank goodness!  They are also treating with an acid blocker that melts on the tongue- we were having a hard time keeping the pill down.  He is still on an anti nausea med too.  Everything seems to be working together well for right now, thank you all for your quick prayers- we are very blessed❤️❤️❤️

Love,
