Brenda’s Story

Site created on October 11, 2023

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope.
On September 28th, Brenda started showing concerning signs of a stroke.  Her son, Clint, was with her and noticed the symptoms and was able to take her to the ER right away.  Upon testing, Dr’s found a 3cm x 3cm tumor on the left side of her brain, which is what caused the stroke.  This tumor is scheduled to be removed Friday, October 13th.  We don't know the diagnosis yet, but will find that out in weeks to come, once it is biopsied.

For those who missed Mom’s funeral service, you may watch it at this link.

Today was truly a blessing. My cousins had the service and did a great job sharing about Mom. I came away convicted and challenged to memorize scripture and have a praise journal.

While our spouses headed back to Indiana this afternoon, Chad and I are spending one more night with Dad. Dad is currently reciting his memory verses for Chad and me. He is giving the background and meaning as to why these verses are special to him Mom. We are blessed!

Thank you so much for all your love, prayers and support! We have felt them and treasure you all!
