Today Brayden turns two months old. The last month of his life has not been what any of us expected. Along his journey we have learned so many things. He is resilient beyond measure. We are surrounded by incredible people who love us more than we thought possible. There is true healing power in love, positive thoughts, and prayer. Patience really is a virtue. Unconditional love is the most powerful emotion and it gives us the ability to push through almost anything. We still have a long road ahead of us but today marks the start of the next chapter. 

We are going home. 

As I write this I can hardly believe it. Brayden has done so well over the last two days that we get to go rest and recuperate at home before coming back down for more taps. Fortunately they can do those in the neuro clinic. We will likely be making the trip 3 times a week for a bit; just a small drop in the bucket. 

Today we celebrate Brayden turning 2 months old with the best gift of all. We get to make our family whole again. I have said it over and over again, but from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone for your continuous love. We couldn’t have done this without you.
