Hi everyone!  We are so happy to say that Will’s scan showed NO new lesions!!!! His lymph nodes remained relatively stable (which is good), and the spot on his sacrum that was radiated still has metabolic activity, but it is diminishing.  The big headline here though is no new growth!!!!  The plan is still to do immunotherapy every 3 weeks and another PET scan in 3 months.

We are so ecstatic and GRATEFUL for this news!  Thank you ALL so much for your prayers and your support during these times.  It is quite a rollercoaster journey we are on.  Something I have had to remind myself of during this time is that though we didn’t know what the results would be, we know that God does, and He knows the future.  He has a purpose for everything, even amidst this suffering that we never thought we would ever have to endure.  During the times when there is confusion, doubt, and uncertainty, sometimes the only thing we can do is to hang on, and trust in Him.  Continue to do the next thing. Hopefully that can be an encouragement to you, and I know this is something I will have to always remind myself of because during these times my mind can wander into the what-if’s.

Moving forward, we pray that the spot on his sacrum completely resolves.  Will does have on/off pain at that site, and we can only hope and pray it fully dissipates.

We have such a humble and grateful heart for each person in our lives.  Even if we have never met, your thoughts and prayers for us speak volumes.
