Brandon’s Story

Site created on March 2, 2023

Brandon Stemper is a hardworking father, fiancé, brother & friend to many. He was involved in a serious automobile accident on Monday February 27th. The accident happened while out of town working on homes affected by the recent hurricane in FL. Brandon’s body was ejected from the vehicle when the vehicle he was riding in struck a pole. Brandon sustained life threatening injuries from the accident which includes severe trauma to his leg & multiple broken bones.  Brandon is currently in the trauma unit at Sarasota Hospital. He will remain there while multiple surgeries are completed this week and the following weeks. His first surgery was performed on Tuesday, 2/28/23.

In order to keep family and friends updated, we have created this page. As you can imagine, these last few days have been extremely hard for Brandon and his family.  They are so grateful for the outpouring of love & support.  If you feel called or lead to donate to Brandon & his family, we have created a GoFundMe, Venmo: amber-peters-38, and cash app: $btafund1121 where all of the donations received will assist Brandon, Amber & Timothy during this time.

On behalf of Brandon, Amber & Timothy… thank you all for your love, prayers & support!

Brandon is going to be so mad at me for sharing this picture but I’m so proud of him for his endurance, perseverance and resilience from this accident! Wednesday 4/12  he got both hard casts removed and the pins out of his left foot. He also got approval to put pressure on his right leg so today when his boots arrived he tried to stand! He was in pain but he did it!!! One of our friend graciously donated a  motorized wheelchair so that’s what he had been making his way around in. He’s having amazing progress and will be walking in no time! His left arm is still healing and cannot have pressure but thank goodness no cast is required so he has that mobility!  His next appointment is in June to reevaluate his left leg to determine when he can start to put pressure on that leg/foot and start PT. Thank you all for the prayers! We are so grateful for all of your support!
