It was an overwhelming couple of days. We had a care conference scheduled for Thursday afternoon to discuss Brady's progress or lack there of. Someone from nearly every department attended to give us the best medical advice for Brady. Ultimately, the overall consensus was that Brady had a life threatening disability. All four of his limbs would remain paralyzed. His spine had so much damage that he would never breathe on his own, eat and digest food, contain his bladder and a plethora of other complications.

Alan and I stayed over at the hospital to spend as much time with our son as we could. Brady coded this morning about 4 am and they were barely able to resuscitate him. His blood pressure stayed extremely low and he was needing 100% oxygen after that. He held on until this afternoon and passed away peacefully in mom's arms. 

Brady knew what he needed and took it upon himself to show us. He was able to take the burden off of us in making the most impossible decision I can think of. We know he is no longer suffering. 

We love you Brady Sullivan Nutt. You are the most perfect, precious, beautiful son we could have ever asked for. We are blessed to have had you on this Earth with us for 7 weeks.
