Brady’s Story

Site created on October 21, 2019

Anyone who knows Brady knows he is one of the most incredible kids on the planet.  While his talent and passion in both sports and the arts is nothing short of inspiring, what really makes him stand out is his generosity of spirit, kindness, and the bright light he is to those around him. Those close to Brady were therefore shocked when a serious turn of events took place late on October 20th at 9:45pm. Brady was in a serious car accident on highway 620, just outside of a neighborhood called Falconhead. EMS recovered him and rushed him to St. David's Medical Center in South Austin where he has now been under constant care and supervision by a team of expert surgeons, physicians, and nurses. The first surgery was successful in attempting many of the bone repairs required and stabilizing his vitals, while a second surgery eliminated possible internal bleeding. Brady has been placed in a medically induced coma in an effort to keep him comfortable while his body gets the rest it needs. More surgery is expected in the days to come, and Brady's family anxiously awaits updates from the wonderful staff here at St. Davids. The purpose of this page is to provide updates for those concerned with Brady's condition, and to coordinate visits and/or meals with family and friends. To see these updates as they come in please visit our online Journal via the link above. Thoughts, prayers and good energy are all appreciated in this time of need. The family sends its love out to those who care for Brady and wish to support him in making a full recovery.
