Brad completed 10 days of radiation on Friday April 19. He received a certificate of completion and also got to ring the bell for completing radiation. That same day he also started cycle 2 of chemo treatments. He continues to get multiple Chemo sub-q shots in Wadena every Monday and Friday during the 21 day cycle, along with extra steroids at home. He also takes an oral chemo pill for the first 14 days of the cycle. Brad says he feels great, and hasn’t had any major side effects from radiation or chemo, besides some fatigue. We are very blessed that the pain meds, medical-grade heating pad, and comfortable lift chair are key to keeping him feeling less pain and doing lots of resting, which is all part of the cancer fight and healing process. We are also thankful that he is able to get out and attend a few events with our family. Last night we attended NYM prom- as Audrey was a sophomore attendant! Thank you all for your continued prayers and support! The meal train has been a huge blessing as I’ve returned to work for the remainder of the school year. We are truly humbled by all of your kindness and love.
