We have some exciting news to share. Bradley can come home today!!!
His healing has progressed wonderfully so the doctor approved his discharge a whole week ahead of the projected schedule.
Thankfully, Bradley did not need a feeding tube placement. He turned the corner quickly with pain at the beginning of this week and his numbers have stayed up. He is eating, drinking, not fevering, and has not required any new transfusions.
Thank you for every prayer, good vibe, and encouraging thought. We are SO grateful!!
So, what's next? We're learning that post transplant life comes with many new restrictions, at least for the next three months or so. Bradley essentially has the immune system of a newborn baby. We may not be able to visit in person for awhile but will keep everyone updated as his immunity grows stronger.
