Maddie’s Story

Site created on March 17, 2018

On Friday, March 16, Maddie was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and admitted to Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. We'll be using CaringBridge to keep everyone informed of how she is progressing through her treatment, which we're confident will result in a cure for her cancer. We appreciate your support, words of encouragement, and positive energy.

Thank you for visiting B Positive for Maddie!

Happy Birthday, Maddie Kate!

We all still miss you so much, especially on this most wonderful day - the day you came into our lives 22 years ago.

We’re doing our best everyday to emulate your grace, humor and kindness. That includes your sisters (Jessie and Hannah) baking two “Drake on Cakes” that we’ll be sharing with the Gibson and SCU nurses at Maine Medical Center where we’ll celebrate your beautiful life that has touched so many.
