Journal entry by Laura Nilson

Good morning.   It's been a couple of weeks since my last journal entry.

Bob is healing from the brain surgery.  He feels pretty well but tires easily and says his brain feels foggy.  Of course I tease him and ask what his excuse was before the surgery.  🙂  He just laughs at that.

He's working full time and takes breaks as needed.  He can't do as much during the day as he used to but he seems to be doing a little more each day.  His customers have been very understanding during this period.

He's struggling with depression and is anxious about the upcoming radiation treatments.   He has heard many horror stories about side effects.  It's hard to convince him that many of those people had different types of radiation than he is having and few, if any, had brain radiation.

He starts radiation tomorrow and will also have sessions Friday and Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week.  After that, a month of healing before they begin to treat his kidneys and lung.

After the successful brain surgery, I am feeling even more confident that we are going to beat this!

We greatly appreciate all of the prayers, meals and other assistance.   It truly feels like we have a huge team on our side and that we're going to get through this together.  Thank you.

Much love,
La and Bob
