Bob’s Story

Site created on March 5, 2020

Good morning family and friends. On Saturday February 29th dad was put on a breathing tube and flown by helicopter to St. Mary's in Duluth. He is stable but still on the ventilator. They will try again today to ween him off. They have tried everyday since Monday without success. They also ordered an EEG today just to make sure he isn't having any silent seizures. I am going back up to Duluth today to see him and talk to the doctors, as soon as i know anything else I will post here. Please pray that he wakes up from this and can get back to his happy self.

Celebration of Life Details

We have finalized all the details for Dad's memorial service.  His Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain Funeral Home from 3:30 to 5:00 on June 27th.  A gathering will follow at the Airport Inn where we will serve Frankie's Pizza, one of Dad's favorites. If you have any photos for the photo boards please drop them off at the Associated Bank in Ashland with Corey.  If you want them back please put your name on the back of them and you can take them after the gathering at The Airport Inn.  We do understand if some of you are uncomfortable and can't make it due to Covid 19.  We ask that you make the right decision for yourself and your family.  If you are able to make it we look forward to seeing you and celebrating Dad's life.  Here are the details from Mountain Funeral Home:
