Journal entry by Judy Martin

The day finally came. TODAY..... PICC line is out💝.  His chest is 3/4 healed over, so Home Health has cleared him.  No more transfusions, no more wound care (except by me) moved to Penicillin now.  He will start going to Luke for PT, and keep up the exercises here at home.  I got some of the dining room table cleared off.  Looking more like a table for eating than an table full of medical care items.  Hopefully tomorrow I can actually finish clearing it and put a tablecloth back on🤗.
Colton went to the Dr.  today, it’s been 15 days since his eye surgery.  The gas bubble is at 50%, moved to one drop 4 times a day and the ointment at night only.  Still has the patch at night, and sleeping facedown, but a little more lenient on looking up😉. Another appointment next week, but Dr. Skule is pleased with his progress.   I don’t feel the amount of pressure that I have over the last few weeks, so hopefully an new norm. Bob’s sister Sue has been here with us all week to help out, it’s been nice.  We are moving forward💞  slowly, but moving! Thank you for the support and continuous Love.  The journey continues.
