Bob’s Story

Site created on January 31, 2021

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. Since my cancer diagnosis we are using it to keep family and friends updated. We appreciate your concern and  support so much. We are unable to keep up with messages and phone calls so we will give all the information in one place and hope you will comment on this site rather than texts and emails to offer your words of encouragement. Prayers and healing energy are so welcome. Updates are listed under JOURNAL. Thank you for visiting.

Friends and family of Bob, Friends and family of Bob,

Thank you for the outpouring of love and support after Bob's passing. We feel his absence terribly, but are constantly reminded of the fondness he engendered and the impact he had on his community, both in Genesee County and around the world. In celebration of his memory, we would like to invite you to contribute your remembrances of Bob in written and/or photographic form, which we will use to create a digital book. Written testimonials of what Bob meant to you, funny stories, and fond memories you'd like to share are all welcome. We ask that the written submissions be kept under half a page in length (less than 200 words is ideal), and any photos have the file name changed to include the location, month/year, and any other relevant details in the photo. Please submit all documents to the following DropBox folder by May 31: https://www.dropbox.com/request/VsVEqn4pvGeQKcTWBvsX.

We will miss Bob for the rest of our lives. But these past weeks have also provided us many gifts - among them the opportunity to live fully in the moment with Bob and each other, and a few of you. You all meant a great deal to Bob, and made his life much richer. For that, we are eternally grateful for you.
