Journal entry by Heidi Havlicek —
Bob and I would like to share a final entry with all our family and friends.
Bob was released from Sutter Medical center 1 month ago and we have both been amazed at his steady positive recovery. Even though he was diagnosed with Vally Fever and not the news of cancer, for which we are thankful, recovery was supposedly going to be long and arduous. That has not been the case. He has progressed amazingly fast and he continues to feel improvements everyday. Of course he does randomly feel symptoms of one kind or another, and that just which reminds us that he was very ill just a short time ago, but they never last long and he gets up and moves on.
He has three doctors appointments next week and if he receives their approval, he would like to return to work, probably part time, the following week. Of course that’s also the week he’s supposed to start calling in for jury duty. 😉.
Thank you all for your prayers and love through this experience. We love you all back!
