Last Night when I arrived to Emory Dialysis for my first treatment of the week my life would change forever.  As I'm sitting down a call comes through from Decatur so I answer.  It's Emory off Clifton Road saying they have a KIDNEY for me and I needed to get to hospital by 8:15 pm for surgery Monday morning between 7 am and 8 am. The case worker had to ask several questions to complete the interview process while my mind is all over the place. I felt like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz!!  I was getting myself ready and the case worker had to double check my blood work with the doctor before moving forward!! After moments of waiting my heart sank!! My body would REJECT the kidney so it wasn't a match for me!  Good News is I know there is a KIDNEY out there for me just NOT at this time.  One of the Dialysis nurses said in the past when a patient got a call and it didn't work out for a transplant,  in the near future that same patient received their transplant.   #GodsPlan #Prayers #AlltheSupportIcanget #Positivethoughts
