ROBERT'S OBITUARY

Robert C. Allwein, 58, of New Market Maryland died on June 30, 2023, after a short but courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Born in Lebanon, PA to Robert and Catherine Allwein. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to the love of his life Stacy Kopper Allwein, proud father to his daughter Emily and son Michael (Jacklyn) and loving grandfather to his three granddaughters Adriana, Amira and Malia.  Family was the cornerstone and foundation of his life. Bob was a kind friend to all who knew him, and he lived a life well worth remembering. While his body was tired, his spirit was full of grateful appreciation and a fearless drive to be present for the people he loved. Bob was the ultimate caregiver, and his legacy will live on in those he cared for most.  Bob went out of his way to make certain that everyone in his life felt encouraged, supported and valued.  In his short 58 years, his impact was deeply felt by his family, friends and those he encountered through his successful real estate investing business and dedication to the community in which he lived.

Bob is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Susan Kopper, brothers-in-law, Michael and Shawn Kopper. In addition to his parents, Bob is also survived by his four siblings Russell Allwein (Stacey), Chrissy Sweers (Don), Cathy Allwein and Tricia Allwein. He was the proud and loving uncle to Ryan & Casey Allwein, Nick & Joey Fontaine, Colton & Aidan De La Peña, Shawn, Brandon & Haley Kopper, Zac & Cassie Sweers and a beloved son in law to Michael Kopper, Sr.

The entire Allwein family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Laheru and the dedicated professional staff at Johns Hopkins who cared deeply for Bob and were heroic in their efforts.

The family will receive friends on Thursday July 6, 2023, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
