Journal entry by Emalie Marion —
It's been awhile since I've posted an update, we've been extremely busy with appointments and everything else going on in life. He goes to occupational, physically, and vision therapy a couple times every week along with general doctors appointments and dentist appointments. He got a new pair of glasses to help with his double vision. The glasses have prism lenses that are supposed to help with it. He's been doing electric stimulation on his arm for 30 minutes twice a day to hopefully help it start moving again because we haven't seen much progress from it yet. He hasn't been using a wheelchair in the house for awhile now and it's been going really well. He usually walks with a quad cane but he also has a hemi walker and a crutch that he can use. Earlier this week, he had a CT scan to check on his shunt. They told us that everything is looking good and the shunt is working properly. His ventricles were extremely enlarged during his stroke because they were filling with blood but now they are looking normal which means the shut is doing it's job!
