I haven't posted in forever. Blaine got his van at the end of February last year 😳  it has been a huge help with all his appointments ! Thank you to who all helped us get it! Over the summer we took the boys to Florida for out first long family vacation and blaines first time to the ocean. Needless to say he absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. Then right before Christmas he received his handicap bike ! He would ride it every day all day if his legs would let him. 

But on to the new update: 
Blaine will be haveing surgery on valentines day.
They will be cutting his thigh bones to realine his hips. Doing this should stop us from having hip replacement surgery in the future. 
They will take out his hamstrings and abductors unbraid them stretch them out rebraid and put then back. They will do the same thing with the muscle in his calf. Then a tendon transfer in his feet to help his feet not hand inwards anymore. Blaine will be inpatient for 3 days then home in a body cast for 6 weeks. He will then go on to 6 to 12 weeks of day rehab and then 5 days a week to intensive rehab. 

We go for our pre surgery on Jan 23rd and that's when I will update everyone again
