A little update From Carissa... 

 

Mama is making big steps in rehab- was supposed to be discharged today to continue in home rehab while staying with my sister but had a little setback. She should be able to leave tomorrow. Her fractured ribs are causing a lot of pain but she’s pushing through and working so hard. So very proud of her! 

 

Cora is as perfect as ever and now weighs over 8 lbs. She’s nursing so well and starting to give us longer stretches of sleep. She’s amazing and we’re all so in love (including the pups). 

 

My body continues to heal- the infections have cleared! I go to the eye dr next week- prayers for no nerve damage and hopefully an easier fix to vision problems.
