Journal entry by Matt Rasmussen —
Hi all, it's been a long time since posting anything here. It's hard to believe it's been nearly two years since our dear Birg went home. Not much new here, the 'new' job I started just over a year ago is going well etc. Life is all about trusting the Lord and persevering to the end. I've been studying Ecclesiastes a bit and reading a book called 'living life backwards', the wisdom of Ecclesiastes has been very edifying to me, it has become one of my favorite books in the Bible. Living life in the view of death puts a new perspective on everything.
There is an ovarian cancer walk that is coming up in September and thought I might post the link to our team page here. If you care to sign up to be on our team or if you feel led to a donation MOCA is a great organization to support women with ovarian cancer and also in remembrance of Birgit.
Hope to see you there!
