Bill’s Story

Site created on October 14, 2021

The morning of Wednesday, October 13, Bill was running errands to prepare for a steak dinner that evening with Ginny, Ryan and Suzy. As he left the grocery store in Monroe, he slid off the road and hit a mailbox. A volunteer firefighter at Dearth Motors came over to the van, saw that Bill was unconscious and broke the window in order to get Bill out and start lifesaving CPR. He was then transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped save his life - from the volunteer firefighter to the EMTs to the doctors and nurses of the ICU to the MedFlight team. And a special thanks to tow truck crew who are keeping his groceries cold until he can get back to that steak dinner.

I don’t know if we will be posting any more updates here, but wanted to thank you all for following along and for your love and support over the past two weeks.
