Our appointment with Dr. Brown came with words we had never thought we would hear in regards to Bill's original diagnosis, "sustained remission." Dr. Brown wants to continue Bill's treatments in hopes to keep it working to keep the cancer from coming back and potentially the treatment not working again if they need to start it again. But he wants Bill to return to Ann Arbor and to Dr. Redman and make sure that they are on the right page. Dr. Redman is a leader in this field and Dr. Brown wants Bill to see him and make sure that the right decision is being made for Bill at this time.
The new order has been signed and they gave Bill and option of having treatment next Thursday or coming in and having it on his next scheduled treatment day which is May 2nd. So we went with the May 2nd option. So we will remain on his existing schedule with just skipping the April treatment.
Thanks for your prayers! We could not have done this without the encouragement and support of our family and friends! The most important thing of all is the power of a God who hears and heals his people. We continue to pray for many friends and family that are not having the same results in their journeys. We know the power of prayer. It doesn't always change our circumstances but it always changes us!
