Hello faithful family & friends! Since I last posted Bev has returned to work 4 hour days. Since she still has neurophathy in her feet, I have been driving her to work and waiting 4 hours in an unused overnight hospital room... that was until Friday when I was told no more, someone complained. American Cancer Society says Bev's work is not accommodating her needs. So starting Monday, I shall drive her to work, drive home, return 4 hours later and let her drive home to get a feel for driving again. We are starting a kind of drivers training to get her ready to solo again. This, like everything else, requires time. Her blood numbers are up and slowly climbing, her doc appointments are less often, her strength was slowly growing, and her hair is growing. In our last doc appointment Bev was cleared to have Kypholasty. A procedure to "fill" the hole where a tumor was disintegrated in her T11 spinal vertabrae causing a spinal fracture due to compression. This procedure, 1 hour, involved having a Balloon inserted into the crushed vertabrae and expanded to the correct opening, then 2 rods hammered into her vertabrae to use as guides to keep the opening while the Balloon is removed, and then cement inserted into the space. This dries quickly and should produce immeadiately pain relief.  Of course you must recognize this procedure was called surgery for a reason.  Bev is very sore but feels relief when standing. Her walking is better, more upright, and she feels the pain is more soreness from surgery/procedure... Whatever. She will rest this weekend. We recently were gifted money from ACS that almost paid a bill and we have applied for a grant from the Lymphoma Society. We are handling the bills for now but Bev working part time will soon take a noticeable toll. We are good and still feel blessed.

We have seen much in our recent life, that has helped us understand why some things have happened to us in the past. The last 4-5 years we have undergone several tramatic events that, while we endured, have now turned to blessings. Our life situation now is in part to the way we treated the past with success. Turn those tragic times to triumph and see God's plan in action. Enjoy life, for the true meaning of life,
Is LOVE!

PS If you are reading this please put a heart so I know to continue this or not. Thanks!
