Taking a tiny break from the spreadsheets.
Slow phones at the Guthrie during the day shift meant that I made significant progress in the final stages of catching up on processing all the scripts submitted thus far in 2024 either by email or tagging on the New Play Exchange for Threshold Theater.
Also, only had to stay til 2:30pm rather than 5pm, which was a nice extra bit of time, during which I took care of the grocery shopping for the week ahead, and also got the laundry moving and the sheets changed on the bed. Last load in the dryer now, so that's nearly checked off the list.
Yesterday I finally got the real estate disclosure document done on the condo sale for my former next door neighbors Jay, Austin, and Lucy (with baby number 2 about to drop any day now, actually past due by a couple of days at the moment). Several rounds of rewrites, mostly to do with the fact that we're going to need a special assessment to start replenishing the reserves in the bank account. The association's money is finite and it doesn't come from some nebulous outside organization. It's us. So even though I'm not made of money myself, an assessment is necessary. We can arrange things so people pay at the rate their budget can handle, but it needs to be done. I miss Mom in moments like this. It would be nice to talk to her, knowing all the ins and outs of condo boards and finances as she did. Sigh.
OK, back to this little project.
Pride Month new play reading for Threshold tomorrow night. Then we turn our attention first to the fall fundraiser, and then the production of Spellbound.
