Yesterday was a blur.

Four mile run, slow, but I got it done.

Grocery run #1 prior to work, grocery run #2 after

Work at the Guthrie from matinee time in the afternoon, through the evening show that night.

By the time I got home, I was done.

This morning I reset the front room, after a weekend spent with visiting guests needing a bed or possible makeshift table.

Training again with my friend Tim.  He's slowly increasing the weights on the me in these various exercises, and the soreness, though delayed, does manifest in a day or so after.

The last of the scholarship reports is nearly complete, with little news updates on students making for last minute edits.

My "creative" writing today was devoted to suddenly necessary emails to the condominium association.  Beverlee would be amused.

Just like last year, someone forgot we were increasing the dues again.  So, that presented a good opportunity to generally remind everyone of the plan we agreed to, three years ago, to increase dues over the following three years, and this is year three.  Also even though insurance is paying for the roof we thought we were saving for at the time, we've gotten LOTS of unexpectedly urgent repair jobs that needed doing (tree removal, foundation repair, the first of a four year electrical upgrade, the city fixing the sidewalk and then billing us for it).  All that association money comes from somewhere to pay for these things - that somewhere being the dues.

Also, the roofing project starts next week, so I needed to warn everyone it's coming, and what it means.
First, of course, the weather has to cooperate.  None of this crappy rain we've had the past several days.
Second, lots of banging away on the roof means the second floor of everyone's unit is going to rattle around a lot - which means pictures and other framed things on walls are going to get jiggled off and fall - and fragile things up on shelves could also fall.  Take them down until it's over.
Third, watch when coming and going during the day for things falling from above.  Our roof is steeper than most, so controlling the fall is trickier for the crew.

Also, we had a snafu - the suppliers delivered the roofing supplies a week early.  As in today, rather than next Monday.
They will be stolen if not undelivered.  So we told the contractor and they're working on it.

No scripts for the playwriting group, so we chatted for a bit and packed it up.

Time to use the stack of quarters and reward method and apply it to my playwriting.  10 minutes a day.  It's working for guitar.  Time to make it work for other things I care about.

Guitar ten minutes done.

Time for playwriting ten minutes.
