An even larger crowd for the final performance, somewhere between 60 and 70 this time, very enthusiastic response to all the short plays, which was a nice way for the cast to go out.

My part of strike was to take the table apart, put it out back, go walk to get my car and bring it to the back of the Bryant Lake Bowl and load it up to take it home.

David was waiting for me, and told me that the company had voted and decided to pay me a stipend as well for my producing duties, which was quite nice of them.  And now I have even more writing related income to put on my taxes next year.  No more zero income.

Now if I could do a bit more writing and submitting of plays, I'd stand a better chance of having still more writing income.

Also, David told me that some feedback on "Spellbound" was that it was too long.  Not sure where that came from, but I've been away from the script for long enough now and I could do some shaving and chopping of the thing if needed.  We're good enough for audition material at least.  And rehearsals won't start until next year, so there's time there.

Honestly, I'm crashing a bit.  Going from an eight hour day at the Guthrie, opening window (a rare window shift for me) from 9:45am to 5:15pm, then right off to the Bryant Lake Bowl for the last of "4Play With Threshold Theater."  Long day.

Got a little guitar in.  Need to get a little writing in.

Not reporting for duty tomorrow at the Guthrie until the evening shift, so I can go out and get some Mother's Day cards, and get them ready to put in the mail on Monday.

Also, we need to assess which play from our reading series should be the next one in the pipeline, because now that we have money for the production of "Spellbound," we need to start writing grant applications to fund the next play.  The cycle continues.

But for now, sleep...
