Betty’s Story

Site created on December 28, 2018

This is where we will try and keep everyone updated on what's happening as everything is happening so fast right now. December 27th Betty was in the ER with severe pain. 2 CT SCANS were performed where we heard the words no family wants to hear, cancer. It's believed to be in her lungs and has spread and just like that life has changed. She was admitted and numerous test have been done. While we wait for the pathology report she will be sent to University Hospitals where a Oncologist & Neurosurgeon will start her main course of action. As of now we are not certain of the stage of the cancer but doctor's believe stage 4 is where we're at. We will keep everyone updated as things progress.
