Journal entry by Tracy Bramwell

Mark & I had the cold/upper respiratory thing that everyone had over Christmas.  Mom did not get it.

We had a great visit to Ohio with family & friends. She finished crocheting an afghan for great grandson Ethan and will start another soon.

Mom's health continues to be very stable.  Her acute issues are a heel wound and her macular degeneration.  We have switched retinal specialists and he does the eye numbing differently so the injections are going a little better. She still gets so anxious beforehand.

I am not sure of the exact date, but we are coming up on the 2 year anniversary of her coming to live in NY soon.  It is probably in an earlier post!

We are coming up on some routine doctor appointments for her.  I got in my mammogram and just had a colonoscopy today.  Mark has recovered very well after his stroke. We get out some but the weather in the winter is always a factor.  Counting the days until spring!
