Beth’s Story

Site created on June 10, 2018

Hello Friends and Family, we are using Caring Bridge to keep everyone in the loop about how Mom (Beth) is doing. She has been diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, a rare form of blood cancer. She is currently receiving treatment at the Baptist Medical Cancer Center in Winston-Salem. Her spirits are high and she is surrounded by friends and family. Please feel free to leave messages here as she will be looking at this website when possible. Also, do not feel obligated to donate to this website. We appreciate their service but are not encouraging or discouraging it.

Journal entry by Amy Leubuscher

Hello Friends and Family.
Mom made it through the last round of chemo and got to ring the bell as she left. 6 months ago I never knew how joyous a sound that was.

She is now home and excited to just have follow up appointments from now on. She is a real trooper and has been down a very long road. The rehab will continue to take time so she would love visitors (please call her cell first) and any/all encouragement.

She will have a 6 week appointment at Baptist and have several tests/scans done. We will send more info when we know it.

God is good.
Amy
